Experienced Development Officer

The Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute has an immediate opening for an experienced Development Officer. The Institute is seeking a fundraising professional who is creative, energetic, and hard-working, and who has experience with individual donor, foundation, and/or corporate development. He or she will work with the President and development team to coordinate, execute, and track fundraising efforts.

The candidate must have at least two years' work experience in a non-profit, development, sales, marketing, or related field. Must be a team player who works collaboratively, has excellent writing and organizational skills, and is able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines, treat information confidentially, and work well under pressure. He or she must have demonstrated success in raising major gifts of $10,000 or more in face-to-face visits and writing proposals, preferably for various audiences.
